Oak Hill Farm, surrounded by the rolling hills of Jo Daviess County, is a storybook setting located on a quiet country road that winds back into a secluded estate of 172 acres with lush gardens and majestic oak trees. Prepare for the day in the original 1891 hay barn at Oak Hill, which has been restored into an elegantly appointed “Barnhouse”. The three bedrooms and bathrooms provide separate dressing quarters for the bride, groom and wedding party. Say your vows outdoors on the serene Barnhouse Lawn surrounded by majestic oak trees creating shady groves or in St. John’s Church, an exquisite, 1860’s treasure, completely restored to its original condition. This non-denominational church is an idyllic space for a traditional indoor ceremony and the staff can escort you to your ceremony via a classic 1931 Ford Model A or horse-drawn carriage. For your reception choose from two locations on the property to host an unparalleled cocktail hour. Serve signature drinks from the Schoolhouse or Country Store, or let your guests take in the splendor of the Barnhouse, using the decks, lawn and interior space. Using vintage wagons to serve your food and beverages completes the rustic elegant atmosphere that Oak Hill is known for.

Time Restrictions

Oak Hill staff will complete all set up and clean up of your decor. Events must end by 11:00PM. Tent is only available May through October.

Rental Fees

The rental fee is $400/hr and $15 per person for a reception and includes up to 12 hours of rental time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is included in the reception rental fees and $400/hr charge for a ceremony-only reservation.

Wedding Cost

The average wedding cost at Oak Hill is estimated at between $8,910 and $13,742 for a ceremony & reception for 100 guests.
