The Sutter Club




Founded in 1889, the Sutter Club is the second oldest private club in the state of California. This historic venue offers a timeless and elegant setting, ideal for creating memories that will last a lifetime. The Sutter Club is a wonderful addition to your wedding day as a reception-only venue. However, it can also accommodate both your ceremony and reception right on site. The California Room is a magnificent space that boasts 20-foot high ceilings, majestic floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams, and vintage chandeliers. With the rental fee you also have use of The Library and Card Room which is the ideal space for your cocktail hour or ceremony. Expect exceptional cuisine, attentive service, exquisite wines, handcrafted cocktails, and grand spaces that speak to a bygone age of luxury and opulence. Time Restrictions

Set up time can start 3 hours prior to the event start time. Events must end by 12:00am

Rental Fees

Rental fees include all tables, chairs, linens, china and dance floor as well as all service staff, set-up and tear down. The venue allows 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $250/hr. A food and beverage minimum of $10,000 also applies.
