The Unity Center in San Diego is known for its progressive spiritual community. If you are considering a classic ceremony but are looking for an alternative to a traditional church then the Unity Center may be for you. The Unity Center provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere that allows you to emphasize love, joy, and peace during your wedding celebration. Guests will marvel at the center’s gorgeous outdoor, cobblestone patio with its waterfall, seasonal flowers and attached pergola. Treat your guests to pre-ceremony drinks and snacks in the center’s Sangha Café. The café has two TV monitors that are perfect for displaying your photomontage. If you plan to have a large number of guests then exchange vows center stage in The Unity Center’s expansive sanctuary. The sanctuary is an airy space with cathedral ceilings, large windows, comfortable chairs, and teal carpet. For more intimate gatherings, use the center’s chapel. The chapel is a charming space that features recessed lights, tickled pink walls, mauve carpet, and padded pews. When you choose The Unity Center you will have access to ministers, musicians and wedding coordinators - all professionals who are happy to assist you with the details of your wedding.

Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by 11:30PM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $320 to $350 for a reception. The fee for a ceremony only wedding ranges from $350 to $1,500 depending on the space chosen for the event and number of people in attendance. A refundable security deposit of $100 to $500 is also required. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $100/hr. NOTE: Champagne toast permitted. Special allowances can be made for certain events for other alcohol onsite but requires prior approval from the venue for all bookings.

The average wedding cost at The Unity Center is estimated at between $1,696 and $2,738 for a ceremony & reception for 100 guests.
