The Dickens Opera House is a gorgeous historic venue located right in the heart of Downtown Longmont. Built in 1881 by a relative of Charles Dickens, this lavish 19th century space offers modern conveniences with historical character and high levels of detail. Wed your beloved on a dramatic stage while your guests look on from the house. Take stunning photographs of your perfect day by posing throughout this stunning venue, enjoying the city views outside and the refined architectural detail. Once you’ve finished preserving your wedding in full color, enjoy a few finely made cocktails at The Dickens Tavern below. End your evening with a delectable dinner and dancing in the converted stage room, which boasts a sleek infusion of modern and 19th century architecture that is difficult to find anywhere else! For a more intimate affair, The Tavern offers a few cozier settings such as the beautiful Presidents Room, Tin Room, or Wine Vault. The Dickens Opera House is practically made for the couple that wishes to throw a unique and dramatic affair.Venue Notes
The rental fee is $500 for a ceremony and reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony only wedding is $500. There is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee. Please inquire with venue coordinator for pricing.
