The Palm Terrace is the perfect space for those seeking an al fresco event with a breathtaking experience. With southern views of the Conservatory Valley flowerbeds and Sutro Tower, and a northern backdrop of the magnificent Victorian Conservatory, your guests will get a truly San Francisco experience.

Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres throughout our five exhibit spaces with exotic plants and flowers from all over the world. Each gallery showcases unique tropical botanicals, custom metal work and the historic architectural beauty of this Victorian masterpiece.

Our reception hall, the Orchid Pavilion, is the ideal place to host your seated dinner and dance the night away. This industrial tent is an empty palette for your creativity when planning the perfect wedding, corporate or private event.

The Conservatory of Flowers is excited to introduce the Lily Pad Lounge! This new addition to our wedding package serves as an ideal space for the bride and her party to get dressed before the ceremony, or as a private retreat for the couple to escape the "bustle" of the big day for a cocktail and a moment of quiet. Time Restrictions

Events may be held from 6:00PM to midnight. Vendor set up and break down time is complimentary, and subject to availability of the three event spaces.

Rental Fees

For a typical wedding at the Conservatory of Flowers, the rental fee begins at $11,000 for 6 hours of event time which can include a ceremony and reception. For ceremony only rental the fee begins at $3,500. Please inquire with Events Manager for more information and specific wedding pricing.
