The historic Caldwell House is a cozy bed and breakfast located in the rustic Hudson Valley, only one hour North of NYC. Caldwell House is perfect for the romantic bride that wants to throw a charming vintage wedding. Standing on nearly 6 acres of land, this charming venue is the picture-perfect locale for intimate indoor weddings of up to 50 guests, and outdoor tented weddings for up to 150 guests. A gorgeous ceremony for up to 150 guests can be held in front of the Great Lawn Gazebo. An intimate group of 10-20 guests can witness your exchange of vows in front of our picturesque white barn. Once you’ve said your “I do’s,” take advantage of the perfectly groomed grounds for unforgettable wedding photos in a garden-like setting. Hold a highly customizable tented reception or dance the night away in the country-style Connemara House. Finish off your big day by retreating to one of the bed and breakfast’s beautiful master suites for your wedding night. No matter what your preference, Caldwell House offers a distinctly rural and vintage venue that is tailor-made for a whimsical, rustic occasion!

Time Restrictions

Flexible set up time for Friday and Saturday Weddings. Sunday weddings may begin setting up at 2 PM or later. All events must conclude by 10:00 PM.

Rental Fees

Our wedding event fees and guest room booking minimums are as follows:
Great Lawn Wedding (Max 150 guests, available mid-May through mid-October):
Minimum 14 guest rooms booked Fri-Sun; Wedding Site fee: $3000
Optional separate cocktail hour (Great Room, max 100 guests for standing reception): $500

Great Room Wedding (Max 50 guests):
Mid-May through mid-October: Minimum 8 guest rooms booked Fri-Sun; Wedding Site fee: $1500
Mid-October through mid-May: Minimum 4 guest rooms booked Fri-Sun; Wedding Site fee: $1000

Ceremony (up to 150 guests, available mid-May-mid-October):
Set-up fee: $350

Intimate Ceremonies and elopements with 8-10 guests or less can be accommodated in the Main House Parlor, all year round, with no ceremony set-up fee. Elopement packages are available, which can be customized. These packages can include:
