Opened in 1874, Wentworth by the Sea is a remarkable piece of New Hampshire’s history. Far beyond just a structure, it embodies the state's rich past. If these walls could speak, they would recount stories of the Portsmouth politician and ale tycoon who expanded the estate with grand wings and other impressive features. They would tell of the month-long peace negotiations that helped bring an end to the Russo-Japanese War. And they would share tales of extravagant events, with Olympic swimmers, skilled markswomen, golf champions, and tennis pros leading the way in recreation and entertainment.Venue Notes
The rental fee ranges from $1,300 to $4,300 for a reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony ranges from $1,800 to $2,800 with reception rental. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of &500 for 30 minutes.Amenities And Requirements
