Located on the mezzanine level of the Independence Visitor Center, this venue lives at the heart of America's Historic Square Mile and sits mere steps from a national treasure, the Liberty Bell. Our ballroom is contemporary yet steeped in history and provides an ideal setting for rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. The interiors showcase neutral tones, raised ceilings, and modern fixtures. A flood of natural light emanates from a southern-facing wall of windows, which lead to an outdoor terrace. Set above the wide lawns of Independence National Historic Park with views of Independence Hall, this spacious terrace is perfect for a bright and fresh ceremony in the City of Brotherly Love. On the main level, the vibrant Grand Hall offers colorful interiors and historical exhibits. It’s ideally suited for large receptions and can be rented after business hours for a an unforgettable evening.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $2,800 to $3,750 for a reception and includes use of the ballroom, terraces and pre-function space for 5 hours, as well as tables and chairs, and all facility set-up and break-down costs. The set up fee for a ceremony is $250 (with reception) and affords you an additional 30 mins of event time. The cost to rent the venue for a wedding ceremony only is $700.
