Offering a tranquil, rural setting, this historic 1790 Mill venue features a rustic lodge, a rushing waterfall, and verdant green scenery to create an unforgettable setting for your celebrations. With indoor and outdoor reception and party spaces for your use all at creek's edge, including covered decks, fire pit areas, a dance floor in front of the mill, and a large field that leads down to the creek, there's no shortage of picture-perfect spaces. For those who would prefer an indoor celebration, the lodge makes for an atmospheric location. It features warm wood paneling and a large wrap around covered porch, which can seat up to 150 guests. The venue also offers optional packages, catering, bar, and other amenities of your choice in which to host your guests with exclusive access to the property.     The rental fee for a two day wedding event runs between $2500.00 to about $5000.00. We price our events according to our clients wish for inclusive packages and also the amount of people in their party, so it varies and is customizable. Events include time to set up, most tables and chairs and all other amenities we have available and include all areas of our facility. We hand off our furniture for you use and set up and ask that you also return our furniture to its place after your use. Other occasions that require one day and are about 50 people and less, like birthday parties, celebrations, and holidays are priced per hour and also include furniture and access to the lodge and other exterior areas.

    - Cascades will not permit excessive alcohol use and may require the ceasing of bar service at our discretion for safety

    - Food and Beverage can be provided by Cascades as an option

    - General liability insurance required

    - No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.

    - Approved outside caterer allowed

    - Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors

    - Smoking in designated areas only

    - Music must end by 10:00PM

    - Wedding coordinator recommended

    - Any event that serves alcohol must display the Virginia ABC 1 day banquet license purchased through the ABC office

    - No fire or smoking permitted near the wood buildings

    - No confetti, fake flower petals, rice, or glitter to be used anywhere on property

    - All trash must be bagged and taken off the property the night of event if the bags of trash exceed our two dumpster maximum

    - Cascades plumbing is on a septic system. Please use only our toilet paper provided, flush nothing else down the toilets, do no put any solid food down the drains, do not put pasta water down any drain, kitchen must be cleaned after use by guest or caterer

    - Please return all items to original location including all tables and chairs, kitchen items borrowed and clean up belonging before you exit after event close

    - Amplified music must be turned off no later than 10:15pm

    - If guest count exceeds 125 guests, extra toilets may be provided at guest cost
