You can’t quite go wrong with a wedding in Monterey, a town and region storied by none other than John Steinbeck. At Monterey Tides, you’ll discover a boutique hotel and event experience. Say “I do” on the private beach before a cocktail hour at sunset on one of the expansive decks. You can listen to the waves lap the shore as you sip your favorite drinks and mingle with guests, before moving the celebration to the ballroom, which also boasts ocean views. There are two on-site restaurants, Bar Sebastián, featuring Spanish tapas and a lively ambience, and Vizcaino, which crafts dishes like braised pork belly and Tajín sea bass. Stay the weekend to explore the town, cycling to Lovers Point, moseying down Old Fisherman’s Wharf, and peeking into all the shops on Cannery Row.

The rental fee ranges from $500 to $2,000 for a ceremony and includes 7 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. There is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $300/hr.
