District Distilling Co. is an ultra-urban kitchen, bar, distillery combo nestled in a historic row of red brick 19th century houses in the center of the U Street corridor. The team of makers at DDC is committed to crafting top of the line spirits and high quality, ingredient-focused dishes. In the interest of private events, the distillery space can accommodate a wide range of party sizes in a variety of rooms. On its own, the Barrel room can host 12 seated or 20 standing guests, to add to the standing capacity, include the tasting bar and distillery tour. Combined, they can accommodate 75 standing guests. For a seated dining experience, explore the two dining room options, one seats 32 and the other 34, or the Alcove – Chef’s Table, which seats 16, for smaller parties. For large receptions, consider booking the main bar area for a capacity of 150 standing guests.
