Description

The Sonora Opera Hall is located in historic, downtown Sonora, in the midst of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Foothills. This historic venue has been beautifully restored and features a stage area, a white ceiling, white walls, large windows, elegant burgundy velvet draperies, and beautiful hardwood floors. Be the center of attention and exchange vows on the stage. Additional ceremony options include having an informal ceremony just outside the Opera Hall or inside the hall in the center of your guests, who would already be seated at the reception tables. You may also use the stage as a raised platform for your sweetheart or head table. If you plan on having a band or a DJ, you might literally give them stage or opt to turn the stage into a raised dance floor area. Use plants, stringed lanterns, vintage banners, or even tissue paper balls to show your personal style and to complement the venue’s simplicity.

Time Restrictions

Set up can start the day prior to the event for weekend weddings or 9:00AM day of the event. Events must end by 11:00PM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $150 to $600 for a ceremony and reception and includes 12 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required.
