A beautiful, simple structure on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, Agape Bay Area is a welcoming space for all people. It is ideal for a more intimate wedding, with a maximum capacity of 120 guests. The center has space for the bride’s and groom’s parties to get ready. Exchange vows in the quiet chapel, which has an old-fashioned appeal. The building itself is circa the 1930s, and keeps everything simple but charmingly elegant. Enjoy a cocktail reception to follow in the lovely foyer, before heading out on the town to celebrate. Oakland is rife with restaurants, and Agape is located close to the Temescal, Rockridge, and Grand Lake neighborhoods, as well as Piedmont Avenue, home of the famed Fentons Creamery. Time Restrictions

Set up time can start at 7:00AM. Events must end by 10:00PM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee is $900 for a ceremony and reception and includes 6 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $150/hr. A refundable security deposit of $1,000 is required.
