Tucked away on 12 acres of rolling countryside, just 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia, Joseph Ambler Inn is a unique Eastern Pennsylvania venue. This classic venue is steeped in history, elegance and tradition. The Joseph Ambler Inn can accommodate every aspect of your special day from the ceremony, to the reception, to overnight rooms for your guests. Choose from an outdoor ceremony on the expansive lawn or on the pavilion. In winter, hold an intimate, fireside ceremony in the historic 1734 farmhouse or the John Roberts House. For your reception, choose between more traditional banquet rooms or charming alternative spaces. The Farmhouse is ideal for intimate cocktail receptions of up to 100 guests, or a sit down dinner of up to 25 guests. The Main Dining Room is another alternative reception space. The Main Dining Room is housed in the hotel’s 1820 stone Barn. The Main Dining Room features exposed stonewalls and random-width hardwood floors. The special events staff includes catering experts and combines a commitment to service with years of experience to make your wedding a success.

Set up time can start 1 to 2 hours prior to event. Events must end by 11:00PM.

Rental Fees

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony ranges from $300 to $600. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee. Please inquire with venue coordinator for more details.
