Salomon Farm Park Overview

Salomon Farm Park was launched as a public city park in 1996 through the generous donation of land by Chris and Maxine Salomon and their daughter, Lynne. The three Salomons discussed and conceived - perhaps twenty years earlier - the potential of their beautiful landmark farm becoming a historic working farm and city park for others to experience. With the assistance and grateful acceptance of the Fort Wayne Board of Park Commissioners and the Parks and Recreation Department, the Salomon family wishes have come true. Salomon Farm Park is a true historic 170-acre gem and a perfect location for your special event. We have two large rental facilities - the Historic Old Barn (capacity 170) and the Wolf Family Center (capacity 150), and three smaller rental spaces - the Historic Salomon Family Homestead (capacity 25), the North Garden (capacity 150), and the primitive open space by our Covered Bridge (capacity 50) all available for rent! We also offer other rental add-ons such as additional rental time, a wagon ride, goat interaction, event arches, and rustic farm tables and chairs. Budget friendly! Plenty of rental options to fit your budget, type of event, and style. OLD BARN 8-hour Weekend Rentals (F/Sat/Sun) Starts at $1,200 April thru August (non-peak season) Starts at $1,700 September and November (peak season) OLD BARN 6-hour Weekday Rentals (M-Th) Starts at $375 You can also rent the nearby Homestead and Wolf Family Center in addition to the Old Barn, for packages starting at $1,500 (April thru August - Old Barn + Homestead) up to $2,300 (September thru November - Old Barn + Homestead + Wolf Family Center). There is also a North Garden area for proposals, rehearsal dinners, and ceremonies, etc. up to 150 guests and a Covered Bridge on the property with open space nearby for wedding ceremonies having up to 50 guests. No ceremonies can actually take place on the bridge. Salomon Farm Park has many rental options, combo packages, and additional add-ons for your special event. Requirements

- Alcohol must be provided by venue- All food and beverage handled by venue- All tables and chairs provided but must stay indoors- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Choose from a list for catering- Music must end by 10:00PM- No decorations may be affixed with tape, tacks, nails, screws, etc. in the building, structures, or trees- No open flames allowed, LED candles only- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- Security required for events w/80+ guests and/or serving alcohol- Smoking in designated areas only
