Madison Museum of Contemporary Art Overview
Located in the heart of downtown Madison, MMoCA’s outdoor Sculpture Garden combines the rustic feel of an outdoor wedding with chic sophistication. Madison’s skyline serves as a one-of-a-kind backdrop for a one-of-a-kind day. Featuring bird’s eye views of the Capitol, colorful garden beds, and large-scale outdoor sculptures lit by the starry night sky, MMoCA is one of Madison’s architectural gems and the perfect spot for all types of celebrations of love, including wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, and brunches.Venue Notes
.MMoCA’s Weddings Package includes use of the Rooftop Sculpture Garden, Lobby, and Lecture Hall as weather and event needs dictate, as well as all Museum fees, including security, staffing, custodial costs, and vendor load-in/load-out assistance. Friday & Saturday of May thru October $2,500 Ceremony $4,000 Reception Only, Brunch, or Rehearsal Dinner $5,000 Ceremony & Reception Friday & Saturday of November thru April AND Sunday thru Thursday, year-round $1,750 Ceremony $3,250 Reception Only, Brunch, or Rehearsal Dinner $4,250 Ceremony and Reception In addition to the weddings package rate, couples hosting a wedding at MMoCA must become MMoCA members at the $250 Langer Society level. Requirements
- Alcohol must be served by licensed bartender/caterer- Amplified music OK indoors and outdoors- Approved outside caterer allowed- Music must end by 11:00PM- No helium balloons- No open flames allowed- No rice, birdseed, confetti, etc.- No smoking- Venue must approve all decorations
