Located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, The William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center offers more than 85,000 square feet of affordable, highly-configurable space that can be adapted to suit your tastes and preferences for your big day! The Explorers Hall, at street level, is ideal for large events that require a stage -- whether you hope to say your “I do’s” on a raised platform or dance the night away to the sounds of a live band. This space can be divided into three smaller spaces for more intimate occasions -- the Cook, Arteaga, and La Perouse Halls. For an even more adaptable space, look to the Summit Hall. This space’s modular wall allows you to divide the space as you see fit. Adjustable designer lighting, sky high ceilings, and a neutral color palette characterize both of these spaces -- allowing you to create the wedding day that you have always envisioned!

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $385 to $4,395 for a reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a ceremony is $500 with reception rental or $500 for a ceremony only wedding. Please inquire directly with the venue for event specifics as many room options are available or for a ceremony with over a 500 guest count.
