Moore-Hornor House Overview
Your wedding will be a beautiful and memorable affair at the Moore-Hornor House. Built in 1859, this charming red home boasts asymmetrical Greek Revival and Italianate architecture and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. During the Battle of Helena in 1863, a violent fight took place directly behind the Moore-Horner House in a site that is now called Graveyard Hill. At one point, two bullets went through the parlor windows and were lodged in the parlor doors; the holes are still visible today. In addition to its fascinating history, the Moore-Hornor House also offers a picturesque setting perfect for an elegant celebration.
