Description:

The Blackwell Inn, located on the campus of The Ohio State University, is the ideal venue for weddings, from intimate ceremonies to grand receptions. Our indoor and outdoor ceremony options provide a perfect backdrop, and we offer flexible reception set-up options in our Ballroom to match your wedding vision.

Our Executive Chef, Dan Heckathorn, and his team create custom menus for all of our couples! Based on a questionnaire that incorporates fond childhood memories, favorite aromas, first date delicacies, and more, each couples menu is perfected during the complimentary tasting. From the hors doeuvres through the main entrees, you and your guests will enjoy an inspired, unforgettable meal that illustrates your love story.

Venue notes

There is no rental fee for the reception, but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. The venue allows 5 hours of event time for the cocktail hour and reception, excluding set-up and clean-up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $200/hr. The set-up fee for a wedding ceremony is $750 with reception rental.
