The Resort at Pelican Hill is just south of Newport Beach, and is a magnificent blend of 16th century Palladian architecture and the California coast. From the moment of arrival, you and your guests will experience a place that feels much further away than it really is. Pelican Hill boasts panoramic ocean views, and lush Mediterranean landscaping. Mar Vista is the part of the resort that houses the wedding venues, and is designed to offer total privacy. The separate entrance and dedicated staff will ensure complete exclusivity. The century-old olive trees, rows of lavender and 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, will captivate your guests upon their arrival. The majesty of the natural surroundings and the gentle ocean breeze will only serve to enhance the loving atmosphere. Walk down the oval, perfectly manicured, Event Lawn to the iconic Italian rotunda. There you will exchange vows, perched 300 feet above the ocean. Guests can enjoy cocktails on an outdoor terrace and then move the celebration inside. The opulent Mar Vista ballroom features an astounding chandelier and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by 2:00AM.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 for a reception and includes 7 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a wedding ceremony is $500 and includes an extra hour of event time. There is a food and beverage minimum applied to all events starting at $80,000. Please inquire with the venue for an exact food and beverage minimum for your event. Weddings booked Monday through Thursday have negotiable food and beverage minimums. A professional wedding planner is required for all wedding bookings and the coordinator must be approved by the venue. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $900/hr. Please inquire with the venue for the exact security deposit required.
