Little Italy's Loading Dock Overview

80 years ago, the Loading Dock was the central meeting place of the neighborhood. Today, San Diego’s Little Italy is a thriving ethnic community that is now home to a wealthy variety of businesses, restaurants and residences. Judging by the diversity of the neighborhood, it is hard to believe at one time more than 6,000 families lived in Little Italy with a common focus, toiling together to make San Diego the center of the world’s tuna industry. In 2017, the Loading Dock was recreated as the place where Little Italy gathers again. In fact, Little Italy starts (and sometimes ends) at Little Italy’s Loading Dock. The name plays off the history of the building and the spirit of the space is emoted at every touch point; offering an inclusive celebration of the modern Little Italy scene. The inspiration for Little Italy’s Loading Dock is to be that central and accessible place for gathering friends and family for events like your wedding day. In such a great location, they are able to offer the most affordable and streamlined event venue in the market.

Venue Notes

The rental fee ranges from $1,200 to $1,500 for a reception and ceremony and includes 7 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. There is also a food and beverage minimum applied to all events. Additional hours can be arranged, please inquire with the venue for more details.
