The Ramsay Event Center operates in a 4,000 square foot event center in the historic Ramsay building, constructed in 1901. The Ramsay Building is a three story structure located at the corner of 6th and Main in beautiful downtown Joplin, Missouri. The space is ideal for your wedding event. With smaller wedding parties, brides have opted to have chairs set up for the ceremony on one side of the room and used the other side for the reception with tables, chairs, and dance floor. Brides with larger wedding parties have set up the room with guests sitting at the tables for both the ceremony and reception, with the tables placed around the room so all guests can see the ceremony. You may choose to have the dance floor set-up in the center of the room and stand on that for the ceremony and then use it later for dancing the night away!
