Located 40 minutes away from Temple, Bryan, and Waco, TX. Once an old barn that was used to store hay. etc, Rocking Chair Range offers a perfectly rustic backdrop for your wedding day. Complete with old school architecture that has been updated to host events, this fantastic venue is sure to provide a singular setting for your big day. Walk through an elegant archway and down a burlap aisle to meet your beloved beneath the shade of a romantic gazebo, sharing your first kiss as spouses surrounded by verdant lawns adorned in finely manicured shrubs and blooming flowers. Your guests will all enjoy this beautiful sight from their classic brick and wood benches. Sip on bubbling flutes of champagne on either the closed or open patio, continuing to enjoy the lovely views of the property before moving inside for dinner reception. This cattle barn is romantically lit and has ceiling fans to help accommodate your event on even the warmest of days.

Hi! I am a small family owned business. I am located just south of Cameron, TX on highway 77 so we are easy to find.

I have remodeled an old barn for parties and weddings so it’s very rustic. It is considered an outdoor venue because the southeast side of the building has no wall and opens onto an area with a concrete floor without a roof. This leads to a brick pathway to the gazebo. I have a large gazebo and a large archway. There is an outhouse for the guests to use with a chemical camping style port-a-potty. Guests may also use the restroom in the guest house Brides and their attendants may get dressed in the guest house. If an additional restroom is needed the restroom in my home is also available.

I can seat 120 people with matching tables and chairs in the main room and have an additional seating for 20 in non matching chairs and tables and still have room for a dance floor.

I have a lot of decorations including burlap table runners and a burlap aisle runner, which can also be used for decoration, and I furnish white linen tablecloths. There is a beverage trough in which you can ice down whatever you’d like. I’ve had some use it as a salad bar and of course any beverage you can imagine including beer if you so choose. There is also a sound system. All of this you may use at no extra cost.

There is a food service room which may be set up for buffet style meals with a working refrigerator. Your cleaning/damage deposit is $100, which will be returned within two weeks after your event if no damage is found (this includes stained tablecloths) and you clean up well. You are responsible for your own set-up, the tables and chairs will be set up but it’s up to you to arrange them, and for picking up trash after your event. If you use my decorations just leave them where they are and I will put away. Leave the table clothes on the tables. If you bring your own decorations leave what you don’t want and it will be available for the next event.

The rental fee for the venue is $350 per day,. The rental price is all inclusive. A day consists of 24 hours from 6 AM the day of the event until 6 AM the next morning. On weekends you may turn the music up loud as you’d like.

A new addition is a guest house for those out of town guests. It rents for $150 a night. Sleeps 4 plus the floor for those kiddos and a fully equipped kitchen including dishes, coffee pot and so on. It can also be used for small weddings and parties for $150 per day.
