Sam's Chowder House Half Moon Bay Overview
Nestled on a cliff overlooking Pillar Point Harbor and the Pacific Ocean in Half Moon Bay, Sam’s Chowder House offers stunning sunsets and a true oceanfront experience just 40 minutes from downtown San Francisco. A salty breeze will wash over your guests as they watch you make your grand entrance down the sandy aisle to say your vows with gentle waves lapping behind you and maybe a visiting seal lion or pelican. Say “I do” with your toes in the sand or on Sam's fenced Beachfront Lawn, only steps from the water. Your reception will be held in one of the restaurant's 6 private event spaces or as a full restaurant buyout, all with gorgeous views of the ocean, delicious menu items and fantastic service.Venue Notes
Private Event spaces do not charge room rental fees but there is a food and beverage minimum requirement which varies depending on the specific space and time. The Beachfront Lawn requires a Food and Beverage minimum plus a Lawn Set Up Fee TBD by specific requirements of the event. The BFL allows for 4 hours of event time. For a full restaurant Buyout inquire with Sam's Chowder House Director of Private Events for more details. To secure any event space requires a signed contract and deposit of 50% of the FB minimum.
