Formerly the Alcazar Hotel, the Lightner Museum continues the tradition of providing unique spaces for weddings and events. The Lightner Museum was built in 1888 as an entertainment center for the luxurious Ponce de Leon Hotel. Now, the Historic Pool and Mezzanine can accommodate sit down dinners, receptions, dancing, and a variety of entertainment for up to 350 guests. Connected to the Mezzanine is a spacious outdoor terrace, which can be used for cocktail hour or an outdoor wedding ceremony. The Grand Lobby, with its exquisite crystal chandeliers and natural light streaming in from lush courtyards, is another fantastic alternative for wedding ceremonies and pre-reception cocktails. Pricing at the Lightner Museum is based upon your needs and event date. Standard pricing for a wedding reception ranges from $9,000 to $12,000. This includes a variety of amenities and 10 hours of venue access. You can add on a wedding ceremony for an additional $2,500, which includes the use of the Grande Lobby and Courtyards and an additional hour of venue access. Ambiance lighting, a dance floor, reception tables, Chiavari chairs, high top tables, and additional setup items are included in your event package.
