Wedding Spot ‘TELL US WHERE YOU BOOKED!’ OFFICIAL SURVEY GIVEAWAY RULES

 

SUBMISSION OF A COMPLETED SURVEY IS REQUIRED TO ENTER. NO ADDITIONAL PURCHASE NECESSARY. THIS PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. SPONSOR: The Sponsor of the survey giveaway (“Giveaway”) is Cvent, Inc. (doing business as Wedding Spot), located at 1765 Greensboro Station Place, 7th Floor, McLean, Virginia 22102, USA. Questions may be submitted the address listed above to the attention of “Wedding Spot Giveaway.”

 

2. HOW TO ENTER:  The Giveaway is open to individuals who:

 

·       Receive a survey invitation and complete the ‘TELL US WHERE YOU BOOKED!’ survey. The survey may be completed online by following the unique link in the survey invitation sent to your email address. Incomplete surveys will not be considered.  One entry per household will be considered for the giveaway.

·       Provide a valid email address. Winners will be notified by email.

 

3. SCHEDULE: The Sponsor will generally hold a Giveaway on a monthly basis. Monthly Giveaways begin on or about the first day of each month where a Giveaway is being held and end on the last day of the same month the Giveaway started. All online entries must be received by 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time on the last day of the Giveaway month. Surveys submitted outside this time period will not be accepted for consideration. It is each individual’s responsibility to observe time zone differences.

 

The Sponsor reserves the right not to hold a Giveaway in a particular month at its sole discretion. In such months, surveys will not be emailed to potential entrants.

 

4. ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry submission. Entrants must be legal residents and physically located in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia. Entrants must have an active Wedding Spot account. Employees (and their immediate family members and members of the same household) of the Sponsor and its affiliates, agents, advertising, or promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in this Giveaway. Winners of prior Sponsor giveaways are not eligible. All winners in this Giveaway must meet these eligibility requirements to receive the prize. Sponsors may require any winners to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility attesting to the eligibility criteria prior to receiving the prize.

 

5. PRIZE: One randomly selected winner will receive:

 

·       One Amazon gift card valued at $1000 (USD).*

 

Limit one prize per family or household. All prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable, and are not redeemable, exchangeable, or substitutable for cash. 

If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.

6. SELECTION OF WINNERS: The Sponsor will conduct a random drawing on or about the first business day of the month immediately following the end date of the corresponding monthly Giveaway. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

 

The potential winners will be notified using the information provided during entry by e-mail in a commercially reasonable time after the drawing, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event a contacted potential winner does not respond to the e-mail to claim their prize within 10 business days, the contacted potential winner forfeits the prize and the Sponsor will select another winner at random from the remaining entries.

 

7. MISCELLANEOUS: All taxes and other expenses associated with the prize unless otherwise stated herein are the winners’ sole responsibility. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.  No other substitutions of prize permitted. 

 

By entering this sweepstakes, entrant accepts and agrees to these official rules, applicable portions of the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (available at www.wedding-spot.com), and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters.

 

Sponsor will not be responsible for:  lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or postage due entries; lost, late, or misdirected prize notices; or any typographical, or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or announcement of the prizes. In the event of any such error, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this giveaway, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

 

8. GENERAL: This Giveaway and these official rules will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, U.S.A, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state, and local courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws, and regulations. Sponsor will not be responsible for: lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incomplete, or incorrect entries. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Giveaway. By accepting prize, winners agree to release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective directors, employees, officers, assigns and agents, including without limitation, their advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner's name, likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law.

 

9. ONLINE ENTRIES: Sponsor shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website, inability to submit the online form, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Giveaway, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected entries.  If this Giveaway or any website associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or otherwise does not permit entry in the Giveaway, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of this Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant implicated in such action, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Giveaway or any portion thereof. 

 

10. Suspension / Modification / Termination: In the event the Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Giveway by any event beyond its control, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, communications or equipment failure, utility or service interruptions, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared), interference with the Giveaway by any party, or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Giveaway or Prize. Sponsor additionally reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion: (1) to modify, suspend or terminate the Giveaway should causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or interfere with the administration, integrity, operation, security or proper play of the Giveaway; or (2) to disqualify any entrant found to be, or suspected of: (a) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway; (b) acting in violation of the official rules; or (c) acting in an un-sportsmanlike manner.

 

11. CAUTION.  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
