Wedding Spot is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team. Our mission is to bring transparency to the wedding and events industry and to bridge the gap between brides, event hosts, and vendors. Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and development of new product features and enhancements
• Work with the product team to develop functional requirements
• Evaluate and improve on the performance, durability and security of published services
• Investigate and use cutting-edge technologies

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of server side development
• Degree in CS, Math or a related field
• Solid grasp of service oriented architecture, OOP, and commonly used design patterns
• Experience with Python (or another OO programming language)
• Working knowledge of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX, Javascript)
• A track record of shipping code in a fast paced, agile environment
• Experience working with a consumer-facing website a plus

This is a full time position in San Francisco.
