Hawaii wedding venues are some of the most beautiful in the world, featuring everything from spectacular ocean and mountain views to stunning estates, elegant ballrooms, and casual cafés. Every location is a paradise, and you can bask in the company of your beloved with the ever-present vibe of Aloha.
Oahu has temperatures ranging between 70 to 85 degrees, though it's cooler in the winter evenings. It's rainier in the northeast and cooler near the mountains, so be sure to consult the venue if you're planning an outdoor wedding. Home to the world-famous Waikiki Beach, among other coves and seaside locales, Oahu is the perfect place for a wedding on the sand or in one of the spectacular waterfront resorts! Given that it’s one of the most popular of the Hawaiian Islands for tourists, you may want to book your travel and wedding venue well in advance to avoid complications and to reserve the dates you want.
No matter what time of year you tie the knot in this island paradise, the weather is always warm on the island of Maui. Snowbirds fly in between December and March, making it a busy time of the year, but if you want to stay for your honeymoon, this is a prime time for whale watching. Full of lush valleys, scenic beaches, quaint farms and manors, Maui is perfect for nature lovers looking for a more intimate space to host their wedding. You'll find the cheapest airfare and the least tourists in April and May and from September through November.
The Big Island of Hawaii is known for it's lush rainforests and marvelous waterfalls, but it's also one of the best islands to visit if you want to avoid rainfall. Though the weather varies drastically from one part of the island to the next, most venues are in drier locations. From gorgeous ranches to tree houses in the rainforest and volcanic backdrops, the Big Island has plenty of room for romantic nuptials and adventure.
The oldest of the Islands, the small island of Kauai is a pristine, undeveloped paradise. As the least commercially developed island, Kauai offers a natural escape for couples looking for a truly unique and intimate space for their wedding day. Tropical gardens and small beaches dot the island for ceremonies and receptions, and scenic drives, waterfalls, and hiking trails are left for the honeymoon.
Wedding venues in Hawaii range from $58 to $393 per guest for 100 guests. Options include having the venue make your cake, having a hosted bar the hour or by consumption, choosing from a buffet to a 4-course meal, and many other choices, so you can customize according to your desires, budget, and guest count. Keep in mind, as destination weddings are common in the islands, wedding venues in Hawaii often offer all-inclusive wedding packages that minimize the cost and planning on your part!
