Located only a single mile from the University of Virginia, the Ivy Inn Restaurant is known for its delicious locally-inspired American Cuisine, historic charm, and first class hospitality. Originally the historic home was part of a larger estate called “Faulkner House” -- after esteemed writer and Southern aristocrat William Faulkner -- and was rebuilt in 1815 after a fire destroyed the original structure. Today, this beautiful home provides an elegant atmosphere for dining and events. Offering four different dining rooms and a tented garden patio, these spaces can be utilized in any combination for your big day. Host your occassion out on the lawn, an airy white tent perfectly complementing the lush green grass and mature trees surrounded the property. The Shenandoah Dining Room boasts a warm atmosphere on the ground floor, complete with french doors and garden patio access. Many of the smaller dining rooms offer a similar welcoming ambiance reminiscent of gentler times -- perfect for more intimate occasions! With over 20 years of experience hosting weddings, you’re sure to be cared for by an experienced, skilled team that will execute your big day with precision and care.
