On the Potomac River's Northern Neck, Westmoreland State Park offers many opportunities for family fun during your wedding. It's listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has an Olympic-sized swimming pool and an adjacent bathhouse, meeting area, snack bar, camp store and power-boat ramp. You'll also find a visitor center, campgrounds, camping cabins, cabins, a playground, a fishing pier, boat rentals and 6 miles of trails. The Potomac River Retreat is an overnight center suitable for a small gathering. Its waterfront location provides wonderful views and docking space at a boathouse. Murphy Hall, atop Horse Head Cliffs, offers you and your guests a superb view of the Potomac River. The hall accommodates up to 72 people for larger gatherings. Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,000 for a reception and indoor ceremony and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The rental fee for an outdoor ceremony is $25 with reception rental or $500 for a ceremony only wedding.
