Located on the shore of the Straits of Mackinac, Colonial Michilimackinac is a place where treasures from the past come to life. The reconstructed 18th century fort and trading village offers a number of unique venues for a unique and memorable wedding ceremony. Ste. Anne de Michilimackinac church is perfect for the couple that desires a more traditional chapel ceremony. The reconstructed church willtransport you and your guest back in time to the 1770s. A high ceiling with exposed wooden beams, large windows, and simple wooden benches give this church a charm and minimalist beauty like no other. If you have been dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, the Bridgeview Gazebo is an ideal location for an intimate gathering on the shoreline. The beautiful vistas of the Straits of Mackinac will make a picturesque backdrop for your romantic ceremony. Or choose to walk down the aisle at the historic Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse. After the ceremony you and your guests can enjoy a reception at a local restaurant or nearby hotel. Or catch a ferry to Mackinac Island and host your reception at Fort Mackinac.
