EAA was founded in 1953 by Paul H. Poberezny, who served as the organization’s president until 1989 then chairman of the board from until 2009. It has grown from a handful of aviation enthusiasts to an international organization representing virtually the entire spectrum of recreational aviation. The magnificent “tower of aviation” welcomes your guests to EAA Aviation Center, creating a striking setting for a unique wedding in a venue full of adventure and excitement. The museum lobby is the perfect place for hors d’oeuvres and cocktails pre-ceremony or during the reception and party. It is perfect to serve as a break area for guests while you dance the night away inside. Imagine hosting your ceremony and reception surrounded by the history of flight! Nearly 100 aircrafts are on display throughout the museum, offering much more than the typical wedding celebration and providing entertainment for guests of all ages. There are numerous gallery areas within the EAA AirVenture Museum that provide outstanding backdrops for your event. Have a set of unique wedding photos against the backdrop of vintage airplanes. Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by midnght.

Rental Fees

The rental fee ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 for a reception and includes 12 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. The fee for a ceremony is $1,500 with reception rental.
