SteamPlant Event Center Overview

Located in the heart of Salida, Colorado's quaint historic downtown 2 hours west of Colorado Springs, the SteamPlant Event Center is a unique venue brimming with views of the Arkansas River as well as the majestic Rocky Mountains. The SteamPlant's beautiful Riverside Plaza on the banks of the Arkansas is a beloved ceremony site, and the century-old painted brick exterior along with other downtown features are perfect backdrops for those must-have photo ops! A reception at the SteamPlant is always a fun affair. Inside our ballroom, a high ceiling, brick walls, and large windows create a warm atmosphere perfect for celebrations. The neutral brick interior goes well with all wedding decor ideas, whether you're planning an elegant black tie affair or a down-home country BBQ. Whatever your dream wedding may be, the experienced event planners at the SteamPlant can help it come to life! An oak dance floor and second-floor lookout make the event space a dynamic room for dancing well into the evening. Whether you enjoy the view from above or boogie down, the SteamPlant is a venue that simply shines for every wedding day.

Venue Notes

The SteamPlant wedding package fee varies; please inquire for the current fee. The rental is for 8 consecutive hours, including decoration set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee. A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is required to reserve the venue; this deposit is deducted from the facility rental.
