Description

The Davenport is a full-service event and reception hall, located in historic downtown Greer, SC, with pictures that date it to about 1898. Boasting a size of 2,500 square feet and beautiful hardwood floors, this venue will serve as an enchanting location to hold your wedding. The historic charm and quaint atmosphere will create a romantic ambience that cannot be beat. Your guests will approach the Davenport to see stunning brick walls and floor to ceiling glass doors that open into a spacious, airy space. Enter the ceremony from the second-story indoor balcony and make your way down a set of white, wooden stairs into the arms of your new spouse. You will look like a vision as you are surrounded by the crystal chandeliers, sheer white voile hanging from the ceiling, and string lights weaved throughout the voile as you make a subtly dramatic entrance. This simple, charming venue looks beautiful dressed up or down and your color scheme will shine against the brick walls and bleach white statement interior details.
