Built in 1938, The Lafayette Theater is both a unique and historic venue for a couple interested in having a one of kind wedding. Once a black and white move theater, this venue has become a beautiful mix of Old America and modernism. The exterior boasts the original marquee and façade while the inside has been renovated to reflect current times. Making your way into the theater, you and your guests will not be able to help but recall the classic scene from The Notebook, where Noah and Allie meet at the theater on their first date. Holding up to 1,100 guests, the Lafayette Theater boasts a main floor with flexible options and versatility. The main floor has a front lobby and main area and the second floor has an additional lobby with bar and concession area as well as 340 built in theater chairs overlooking the main floor. Have your ceremony under the sparking arthouse lighting of the main stage while your guests look on from the circle tables and seats set up on the main floor on the first floor. For a private moment post-ceremony, you and your spouse can steal a few moments in the darkened second story balcony, leaning back in the comfy theater seats while making a toast to the start of new beginnings in an unforgettable venue.

The rental fee is $4,500 for a ceremony and reception and includes 17 hours of event time including set up and clean up time. A refundable security deposit of $200 is required.
