In the early part of the twentieth century, Lord and Lady Anderson purchased the land which now comprises the 43-acre Highlands County Park, located in the San Lorenzo Valley just north of Santa Cruz. They built an English-style mansion on the property and named it "The Highlands," in honor of Lord Anderson's Scottish heritage. Today the grand mansion of Highland House and beautifully landscaped grounds offers a charming wedding venue for your special day. Imagine meeting your beloved at the end of a flower petal-lined brick patio aisle and promising your love for one another under an archway canopy covered in flowers and vines. This quaint setting offers an intimate feel in a lush garden, and your wedding party and guests will enjoy the exclusive privacy of the park and its banquet facilities. Your event package includes use of three grand rooms and a bar area, so your friends and family can toast your new life together in style!

Time Restrictions

Set up time can start at 10:00AM. Events must end by 10:00PM, 2 hour clean-up until midnight.

Rental Fees

The hourly rental fee of $140 resident/$154 non-resident with a ten hour minimum reservation that includes a 3 hour set-up, 2 hour clean-up time with a 5 hour maximum event time, to include ceremonies within the house and wedding lawn. Hourly rentals are available during weekdays. A non-county/non-resident fee of $250 may apply. November through March winter rates are hourly and discounted 25%, and maximum capacity is reduced to 100 persons. A refundable security deposit of $200 is required. A 5 hour alcohol permit fee of $200 is available for beer, wine and champagne. Prices provided by Wedding Spot are based on a weekend rental and not hourly rates.
