The Bond Ballroom is an exquisite and luxuriously jaw-dropping space perfect for an unforgettably romantic wedding celebration. The Hotel Bond opened its doors in September 1921. In the grand tradition of spectacular downtown hotels, the 12-story Hotel Bond included a penthouse ballroom, gilt chandeliers, rose and gray damask Louis XIV drapes and 17 towering, arched windows that presented unobstructed views of surrounding Hartford. Wow your guests as they enter the ballroom through a set of lovely French Doors that will lead them into the ballroom. Three walls of elegantly appointed windows stretch to the ceiling and overlook the cityscape, Capitol and downtown Hartford. Each window also offers a comfortable window seat so your guests may sit right in the window to enjoy the spectacular views. The Bond’s massive crystal chandelier is the centerpiece and truly a magnificent sight. Guests will be dazzled by the room’s Edwardian elegance as well as by its panoramic view of the cityscape and majestic Capitol dome beyond. The arching, palladian windows dramatize the Ballroom’s grandeur. The stunning Ballroom evokes the ambiance and aura of the grand entertainment palaces of a forgotten era!

Rental Fees

The rental fee is $95 per person for a ceremony and reception and includes 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $5 per person/hr. There is a guest count minimum applied to all events.
