Founded by the Melville family in 1929, the Old Field Club is situated in the historic Three Village area of Long Island, sixty miles east of Manhattan. Come experience the elegance of this traditional beach club setting. Imagine an intimate ceremony nestled in a private natural setting. The beautiful waterfront acreage abounds with flowers in the spring and summer. In the fall, bask in the beauty of the changing colors. Guests will catch glimpses of local waterfowl feeding and nesting in the lagoon. After the ceremony, cocktail hour is held in the Lagoon Room, which opens up to a covered screen-in patio and open-air terrace overlooking a picturesque water view. Your reception then follows in the newly restored ballroom. The original wood ceiling, brass chandeliers, and working fireplace accent the charm of the Old Field Club’s ballroom. The ballroom also has French doors that lead out to a spacious deck overlooking the water. The venue’s team of trained Chefs promises to create a world class dining experience for you and your guests to savor.

Time Restrictions

Flexible set up start time. Early morning can be arranged. Events must end by midnight.

Rental Fees

There is no rental fee for the reception but there is a food and beverage minimum applied to events on peak days. The venue allows 5 hours of event time excluding set up and clean up time. The set up fee for a wedding ceremony is $8 per person. Additional hours can be arranged for a fee of $15 per person, per hour.
